Although practice in Maryland's and Virginia's appellate courts is similar to practice in federal appellate courts and the D.C. Court of Appeals, there are important differences. This seminar is designed for attorneys who are familiar with appellate practice generally, but who could use some guidance for the occasional appeal in Annapolis or Richmond.
