Phil Andrews quoted in various media about GTI Maryland’s lawsuit against the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission
September 26, 2016
GTI Maryland recently filed a lawsuit against the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission for removing GTI from the list of companies that received licensing pre-approval for operating medical cannabis grower operations in the state.
Arguing that the Commission illegally rejected GTI's application in favor of lower-ranked applicants, GTI's lead counsel Phil Andrews commented, “This is a case about a state commission setting rules and then, inexplicably, failing to follow them.”
News of the lawsuit, filed in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, was featured in the Baltimore Sun, Daily Record, and Washington Post, among other publications, on September 20, 2016.
