Kramon & Graham principal Natalie McSherry elected to University of Maryland Carey Law Board of Visitors
Kramon & Graham announced today that principal Natalie McSherry has been elected to the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law Board of Visitors. The Board is a collaborative forum and professional resource that advises the Dean on topics ranging from proposals for new academic programs, to administrative hiring, to political issues affecting the law school. Members of the Board also seek to advise the Maryland General Assembly, the Board of Regents, the University System of Maryland Chancellor and the University of Maryland Baltimore President on matters affecting the Law School.
Nationally known, and with more than 30 years of experience in commercial litigation, health care law, and alternative dispute resolution, Natalie is recognized as one of the State's preeminent trial lawyers. For her competence, professionalism, civility, and commitment to public service, she has received numerous awards, including the Daily Record Leadership in Law Lifetime Achievement Award, Maryland Volunteer Legal Services Winnie Borden Pro Bono Leadership Award, and the Maryland Legal Services Corporation Arthur W. Machen Award.
Natalie serves as chair of the board of Woodsboro Bank and of the Maryland Legal Services Corporation, and as a trustee of Catholic Charities of Maryland. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and member of the American Health Lawyers Association, Maryland Society for Healthcare Risk Management, Maryland State Bar Association, Bar Association of Baltimore City, and the American Bar Association, among many other industry organizations.
Natalie is a graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law (J.D., 1974) and Manhattanville College (B.A., 1971).
