Kramon & Graham joins forces with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield in support of "Better Together" COVID-19 Vaccine Pledge
Kramon & Graham has signed the CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (CareFirst) COVID-19 Vaccine Pledge. The pledge, which is part of the insurer's "Better Together" campaign, aims to support public health official's work to increase vaccination rates and will focus on the steps people can take to protect themselves, their families, and communities from COVID-19.
As part of this pledge, CareFirst will donate $100 for every CareFirst employee who takes the pledge and $1,000 for every organization that pledges. Donations are expected to reach as much as $1.7 million and will be distributed to community organizations helping with vaccinations in the surrounding regions.
In a statement about the pledge, Kramon & Graham managing principal Dave Shuster said, "The health and well-being of our employees, clients, and vendors are paramount. We acknowledge the sacrifices made by our employees and members of our community to minimize the spread of COVID-19. We are proud to join CareFirst in its initiative to encourage widespread vaccination against COVID-19. Above all, we honor and remember those people who lost their battles with COVID-19, and we express our heartfelt thanks to the healthcare heroes who continue to serve courageously on the front lines of the pandemic."
