David Shuster Addresses Heating & Air Conditioning Contractors of Maryland
February 21, 2014
On February 20, 2014, firm principal, David Shuster, was invited to speak at the membership meeting of the Heating & Air Conditioning Contractors of Maryland. David's presentation addressed the issue of whether, and under what circumstances, employers must pay their technicians for the time they drive in company work vehicles from their homes to the day's first jobsite and from the day's last jobsite back to their homes. The issue has been the subject of litigation across the country, and the Maryland courts have yet to address the issue under Maryland's Wage Payment and Collection Law.
